View ArticleDillsburg area's premier veterinarian, Dr. Sara welcomes all cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies to our full-service animal hospital. Sara Mummert, veterinarian, and the entire staff here at our veterinary clinic are devoted to the animals we treat.
Our everyday mission is to provide practical veterinary medical care to enhance the relationship pet owners share with their pets. Additionally, we strive to improve every pet's quality of life while preventing or relieving any pain or suffering.
Our motto is “You give them love, We’ll keep them healthy!”
If your pet is having an emergency, stop reading and call our Dillsburg veterinarian at 717-432-2513. During our off hours, Timberview's After-Hours Care Team Service will answer your call and provide resources and, for current clients, alert our manager. If you have a serious emergency that requires immediate treatment, visit our Pet Emergencies page for a list of emergency clinics in the area.
As a veterinarian, Dr. Sara believes that education is the key to prevention. So our Dillsburg animal hospital provides learning resources to the families of our patients so they can prevent avoidable illness and injury when possible. Families who know how to take care of their pets have the happiest, healthiest pets. Our Timberview staff can provide information about everything from proper diet, nutrition and exercise to pet dental care and vaccination requirements.
Our animal clinic wellness efforts start from the moment a puppy or kitten comes into your home. Call us to schedule a comprehensive puppy or kitten exam, to set up a vaccination schedule, for microchipping, and to arrange spay and neuter surgery. We never double book appointments, so each pet can enjoy the undivided attention of our veterinarian, Doctor Sara. Our animal hospital also has no waiting room, which may seem odd at first, but generally, pets and their families can be ushered right from the reception area to their own family-friendly, low-stress exam room.
Along with our preventative programs, we have established our own online pharmacy to provide home delivery for pet prescriptions, flea and tick medications, heartworm prevention and nutritional supplements. We are pleased that we can offer this service to our patients because it helps relieve stress for their families. We call this service TIMBERVIEW HOME DELIVERY!
Although our primary mission is the prevention of diseases, illness and pets experiencing any type of discomfort, we understand that pets, like people, get sick and have mishaps. So we are ready with high-tech, practical care whenever this happens. Our animal clinic has an in-house laboratory and digital x-ray diagnostic tools so that Dr. Sara can make a quick diagnosis. We also use laser surgical equipment to reduce inflammation and decrease recovery time. To treat a range of diseases, such as Lyme disease, influenza, kennel cough, respiratory conditions, and digestive problems and bowel / urinary obstructions, Timberview can do it all.
Please call us today with any questions you have about your pet’s health and wellness. We have helped pets here and throughout Franklintown, Harrisburg, Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, York Springs, East Berlin, Gettysburg, and Hanover to avoid illnesses through our wellness care services, as well as helping pets that are sick or injured. We understand how important a part of the family our pets are, and we strive every day to make sure that our patients and their families can enjoy long, happy, healthy lives together!
